A NOTE BEFORE YOU START

A good plan leaves room for your people. Use this guide with your confirmed dates, group size and Kerala departure point.

01

Give the tour a clear educational purpose

A Delhi and Agra college tour can connect classroom topics with buildings, public spaces and the way cities developed. Before choosing a long attraction list, ask faculty to identify two or three learning themes. Architecture, history, tourism management or urban observation can each lead to a different programme.

Students can prepare a short briefing on selected places and share observations afterwards. This gives the trip a practical academic focus without turning every stop into a lecture. An industrial visit or institutional interaction is a separate arrangement and needs confirmation from the host.

02

Allow for the complete Kerala rail journey

Travellux’s Delhi–Agra outline spans seven to eight days. It allocates the first two days to outward rail travel, days three to six to the destination programme and departure, and the last one or two days to continuing return travel. Exact dates depend on the booked train.

The outline lists one hotel night in Agra and two in Delhi. Train nights are separate. Ask for arrival-day freshen-up arrangements and a realistic return deadline; sightseeing on arrival or departure days has to fit around transport rather than the other way round.

03

Check the visiting day before fixing the sequence

The proposed Agra programme includes the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, followed by Delhi visits in the next part of the journey. The official Taj Mahal website states that regular visitor access is closed on Fridays. Confirm current visitor arrangements before approving a dated schedule, rather than copying a generic day order into the college circular.

For Delhi, choose priority visits from the package and allow time for transfers, meals and group assembly. An exterior stop at a public building does not imply access inside it. In particular, requests involving Parliament or Rashtrapati Bhavan need the relevant permissions and availability; keep an alternative ready.

04

Make the quotation easy for faculty to review

Ask for transport class, local vehicles, hotels, room sharing, meals, entry tickets and guide arrangements to be listed separately. Confirm whether the proposal includes any educational visit or only sightseeing transport. A place mentioned in an itinerary is not proof of a reserved slot.

Share the passenger-booking requirements through the agreed private channel. Nominate a student coordinator and faculty contact, and issue a final briefing with reporting times, meeting points and the confirmed programme. Keep passenger IDs out of public messages and promotional material.

05

Choose a focused route or add an extension

The Delhi–Agra itinerary keeps the trip centred on heritage and city visits. The separate Manali circuit adds a mountain portion and more transfers. Compare the full dated programmes before extending the trip: a longer attraction list is only useful if the group has the time and budget to enjoy it.
